Just like having a new baby, a puppy is a huge learning curve for first time dog owners. How do you toilet train your puppy? How do you get them to settle, especially at night? What is the most appropriate training style? When should you start puppy training and socialising them?

The volume of advice on the internet can be conflicting and confusing. However, with my expertise and skills, based upon scientific theory and high welfare standards, you can rest assured that you will set your puppy training off on their right paw.

Every puppy is unique and every owner has their own particular requirements. As such, I believe that 1-2-1 puppy training sessions at your home offers the best possible start for you and your puppy.

Each puppy training session is tailor-made to suit your needs and set at an appropriate learning pace for your pup. This simply cannot be achieved in a puppy class.

I can guide you in teaching essential skills to your puppy, such as basic commands, recall and lead walking, which will lay the foundations for good behaviour and communication.
Socialisation is so much more than introducing your puppy to another dog.
In order to develop into a well adjusted and confident adult, your puppy needs to experience as many new circumstances, sounds, people and animals as possible whilst they are still young.
I can develop a programme of socialisation with you, and guide you through the whole socialisation process.
I can guide you through common puppy problems, such as chewing, nipping, toileting and learning to be alone
I can also help you with any specific issue that you want to address.
I will help you understand why your puppy is behaving in a particular way, and show you how you can modify their behaviour using kind and positive techniques.
